Description
This shortcut helps you to quickly shut down or restart your device, without pushing physical buttons. Not only it is quick to use, but it also prolongs the life of the physical buttons on your device.
*Tip: You can add this shortcut to your home screen to use it quickly.
*Note: This shortcut is made for iOS 16.4 or newer iOS versions.

Hi. You don't need a shortcut for that, your device has a whole bunch of native features that their owners don't take the time to discover or don't have the curiosity to document and exploit their devices...
In this case and for that restart/stop feature without the physical use of hardware presses:
Go to [Settings, Accessibility, Touch] and enable [Assistive Touch]
Then [Customise The Top-Menu Level], You have a whole bunch of features including those in this shortcut !!

@Phyleas
You even have access to so many more features to customize your device !!
For example, if you go back to the [Accessibility, Touch] level you even have access to the [BackTap] of your iPhone (a great feature and one that almost nobody exploits!!!).
A little effort to read up on your device and you won't be disappointed with what it can do that you probably don't know exists...!!!
Best regards.

As I know, Assistive Touch doesn’t have the “shut down” function (but it indeed has the “restart” function). But with this shortcut, you don’t need the block for the “restart” function in the Assistive Touch menu, and you can use this block to put in other functions or other shortcuts. And if people don’t want to have a dot to hide some area on their screen then people can use this shortcut instead.
Peace.

This shortcut is handy when the Assistive Touch becomes unresponsive (and basically the upper half, 10% from top screen). So restart is required, in this case we can use this shortcut quickly (though I haven't tested it in this situation, but assuming it).

Is it your honest opinion, or do you just want to take “revenge” on me because I call your prank shortcut “evil”?: https://routinehub.co/shortcut/14730/

Idc that you called my shortcut evil. Im being dead serious why would you want to turn off your device without the button?

I also don’t see how your prank shortcut can be used in any situation. It is literally designed to harm the device by making it lag constantly.

For pranks. Done. And the point of it isnt to lag the device, (it doesnt even lag for me) it is supposed to lock the device TEMPORARILY. So if you leave your phone in sleep mode for like 2 minutes with my shortcut it will stop.

I find that my shortcut has some benefits.
First, I feel that restarting with my shortcut is much faster. I can choose to restart in the Assistive Touch menu, but manually turning on assistive touch takes many steps (even when using triple back-tap, I have to tap strongly many times to wake assistive touch up), instead of that, I can just swipe up from the screen and choose my shortcut to restart.

Second, shutting down the phone with my shortcut instead of holding the physical buttons helps extend the life of your buttons. If you press a button too many times or for so long, it will break. Some people have their iPhone power button not working properly (sometimes works, sometimes not) because they have used their phones for a long time, so they need my shortcut to turn their phones off. In the past, Apple made the Assistive Touch menu has a virtual home button to serve similar purposes.

And please stop the meaningless war or defamation targeting any of my new shortcuts. Countless people make meaningless or less useful shortcuts than my shortcut but they get zero criticism (not harmful, just meaningless or less useful). I fear that whenever I post a new shortcut you will go to find a way to insult it so that people don’t download my shortcut. I have made some useful shortcuts recently but I haven’t shared them, maybe I should retire from sharing shortcuts because of the war.
