MediaKit iPhone Mockups

Create mockups from 64 iPhone models

Description

Please read carefully:

This shortcut was created with iOS 13 and is officially only compatible with this iOS version. An update for iOS 14 is planned but will take as long as Apple is able to fix the numerous bugs of iOS 14, which also affect the Shortcuts app.

Unfortunately, iOS 14 is one of the most disastrous operating system updates in recent years. There are hundreds of bugs that affect numerous areas (Apple Music, Mail, CarPlay, HomeKit, Shortcuts, Widgets, GPS, WiFi, Mobile Data and so on). And for this reason, I am not currently updating any of my devices to iOS 14.
Apple was for example not able to fix the "Show Web Page" action bug of the Shortcuts app during the whole developer and public beta phase. Even with the official release of iOS 14 the bug is still not fixed. In all current betas of iOS 14, which were released after the official release, there is no fix for the bug either.
So if you experience any issues using the shortcut, thank Apple. And of course, I'm sorry that you have to pay for Apple's bugs. But I don't see the point of investing time, temporarily rebuilding my shortcuts to work despite the bugs, only to undo everything again when the multi-billion dollar company Apple is able to do its job properly again.
Thanks for your understanding.

Welcome to MediaKit iPhone Mockups

Mockups serve the purpose of giving the visitor of your RoutineHub shortcut page an impression of what to expect. You can also use mockups to support the description text. As you know, a picture says more than a thousand words.

Both MediaKit iPhone Mockups and MediaKit iPad Mockups follow the same strategy: You decide which iOS device you want to use—no matter which iPhone or iPad generation you own.

The easiest way, of course, is to select the device you used to take the screenshots. This way the picture dimensions fit perfectly to the frame. Many generations of iOS devices have the same aspect ratio. For example, an iPhone 8 Plus screenshot also fits into the iPhone 5c, 5s, 5SE, 6s, 6s Plus, 7, 7 Plus, 8 frames. The same applies to the iPhone XR and iPhone 11, for example (and so on and so forth).

MediaKit iPhone Mockups Version 1.2

MediaKit version 1.2 offers the new iPhone 11 models in all colors and other improvements: You can now save your favorite iPhone model to create mockups much faster than ever before. You can also choose whether the source of your images is the Photos app or iCloud Drive. If you choose Photos, you can also choose to see all your albums or just screenshots. In summary, MediaKit iPhone Mockups in version 1.2 retains the basic concept, but allows a much faster production of mockups.

Step-by-Step (Default)

By default, select the iPhone model and color you want to use to create your mockup. Alternatively, you can save a favorite (see preferences) so you don't have to keep selecting the iPhone model and color. In the example below, the selected image is simply a midnight green graphic placed in the frame of the iPhone 11 Pro Max. Of course you can use all kinds of images or screenshots for it.

1. Tap "Create Mockup"
2. Choose an iPhone model
3. Select a color
4. Select an image from Photos/Files
5. Tap "Generate Mockup"
6. Tap mockup and tap "Add to Photos"
