Mass Text
Mass text sender without making group text
Description
This shortcut will send a mass text out to those you specify. It does this without creating a group text to save you from the trouble of sharing numbers with everyone.
You have the option to select contacts individually or to create a group within the shortcut. Alternatively, you have the option to filter based on a group that you have already created within the iOS or iCloud Contacts app.
As of v2.02 this shortcut now has a built in updater mechanism

@gasboy
This is amazing, thank you! I wonder if it's possible to delete the message threads after sending a message to several people.

I am glad that you are liking it!
Unfortunately shortcuts cannot delete messages from the Messages app. It may be some thing that comes available in the future though, if it does I will try to add something like that in the functionality

@Aleksandar
Hello is there anyway to remove the “hi followed by contact”?

You mean when sending to a defined group?

@Aleksandar
No the group works great.
However when I click a defined group and send a message the message starts with “hi name”. For example “Hi john”. Is there any way to remove the “hi name “ and just have it say the message?
Thanks so much for the reply

Yes it's possible for sure. I had added that previously as a personal touch for sending to a defined group but it can certainly be removed. Or would it be better for you if I tweak it so it asks if you want to include a greeting?

The latest update includes a question to answer whether or not the greeting is included for defined groups

Awesome shortcut! How about attachments (PDFs/Photos) ?
The only solution I can think of is sending the text of a photo's iCloud Link ...

Thanks much! Unfortunately the only way is to either load them in iCloud Drive like you mentioned, or to turn on the compose sheet option in the send message action, which then requires you to tap send for each recipient

Thanks for the info! Loading into iCloud Drive isn't an issue. Is the solution to use the iCloud link or is it possible to select the image directly from iCloud Drive so that the image is sent as a photo within a text?

It would be sending the link by using the get link to file action. Or like I mentioned, using the send message compose sheet option could work but it's a lot of tapping send
