Awesome! Thanks. I changed Get Variable back to “Discoverable” but I don’t recall seeing too many others. I know trying to set a Siri Kit donated action as discoverable is a quick trip to a delete / reinstall operation on Shortcuts. I haven’t tried doing the same with a User Activity action, but I know both can be embedded the way you’ve done here.
I’m collected some very useful and rare (apparently) actions for numerous apps. Any idea if SiriKit or user activity actions can be shared

Ohhh. All that sounds interesting. Have you published anything about it?

I have not. I did some work on a shortcut to decrypt user activity actions, but I’m not sure that’s even useful. Once I have iOS 14 jailbroken on my phone I’ll resume exploring what’s possible. The entire interface for choosing actions is uselessly infuriating to use. It needs to be completely replaced.

I’d really appreciate if there was a comment on this shortcut explaining these actions and how to use them. I don’t see how to use “Get Detail from Appearance” to check if dark mode is on (what option do I select for “Appearance”?), and I don’t understand what “PreBoard” is. Is it the Lock Screen? Why does it take me to the Apple logo screen?

I’m pretty sure that PreBoard is the lock screen, as you guessed. From further guesswork, it would be safe to assume that an input is provided to PreBoard upon startup, causing it to be the normal lockscreen, although it defaults to the post-update screen.

How do you use the get variable action in your own shortcuts?

An example: Sometimes, as the last step in a "Repeat with each" loop, I want a variable so it gets added to the "Repeat with Each Output". If it's a text, I can put the variable in a Text action. But what if it's an image? Or a contact? There are workarounds, but using a "Get Variable" feels more natural.

@MusicguyRevamped
You can, but it would take some modding. It is relatively easy to understand. You can use my shortcut to help with shortcut modding.

It opens a black screen. The application’s name suggests that it is used for account authentication in an app.
For more hidden apps, you might find this page useful https://www.theiphonewiki.com/wiki//Applications . In most cases, if you click on the app’s file name, there will be an info page, including a bundle identifier, which can be used in the parameters of the “Open App” action.
