Love the shortcut! It's a great tool for those new/unfamiliar with HTML. After trying it out, I have a few minor suggestions regarding images that may make it a bit more versatile: allow users to select images from files/iCloud in addition to photo library and also provide an option to set a custom image in place of the shortcut icon.

Next update allows images to come from a link and allows them to be linked to a URL. I should be able to add the choosing a picture from files in the update after that. I also could add a layout similar to the Normal Advanced layout but have the icon a picture instead. Thanks for the feedback.

keep getting a "Couldn't communicate with a helper application" when trying to run the newest (3.0) version

I am getting that message too. If you keep running it normally on the third time it works. This is not a bug for the shortcut but must be a Apple bug. I have no idea why it works sometimes and not others but it is probably something with files. I hope you can still try to use the shortcut and it helps.
